I began taking French and Spanish courses in elementary school, learning the basics of the languages. I have continued to improve my knowledge of these languages ever since. French is a favorite of mine. I typically tutor students in this subject, getting them to understand not only the words, but also the culture of the French people.My goal is to sample a little bit of every language, learning new things as I come across them. I think it is important to be able to communicate with other cultures and people throughout the world.I attended West Virginia University, focusing on literature and culture. I hope to teach my students that there is a whole other world out there for them to see. Not only are there different languages and customs, but also cuisine that I am happy to help them discover.My free time is spent learning more about language and literature. I also focus on learning about the different cuisine a country offers, often attempting to recreate the meals on my own. I enjoy art and history, and have a love for drama and science. There are so many things to learn around us, and I never want to miss an opportunity.
